Digitization Award

Minister: New award important step for the future of construction

For the first time ever, the Building Awards focus on the digitalization of the construction industry with the 'Digitalization Award'. According to the Minister, the award is important to promote the necessary digitalization of the industry to ensure increased efficiency and sustainability

To ensure increased efficiency and precision, better documentation and better collaboration between players in the construction industry, digitization in the industry must increase. Therefore, it is good news that this year Licitationen has chosen to expand the Building Awards with the 'Digitization Award', which celebrates digital frontrunners in the industry. As co-creator of the 'Digitization Award', CHISA A/S is proud to have been involved in the creation of the new award.

Digitalization is the key to a more efficient and profitable construction industry with fewer disputes and better documentation. At CHISA, we had no doubt about the importance of creating an award that highlights the opportunities to revolutionize the industry through digital innovation. I am therefore pleased that the Building Awards also saw great potential and chose to create an award that recognizes the digital frontrunners," says CEO Claus Navntoft from CHISA, sponsor and co-creator of the award.

Minister supports the award
The award will be presented together with nine other categories at the Building Awards on November 9 at Moltkes Palæ in Copenhagen. The entire construction industry will gather at the event, where Minister of Digitization Marie Bjerre (V) will also attend to present the award to the winner.

There is great potential for digitalization in the construction industry. With digitization, we can increase growth in the industry while making it greener. I am therefore pleased to be able to help push the industry's digitization by presenting the first digitization award at the Building Awards, says Minister for Digitization Marie Bjerre.

Even though it's a new, unknown award, a total of 19 companies were nominated for the 'Digitization Award'. The field has now been narrowed down to the four finalists ABC - Consulting Engineers, Formfaktor, Molio - Byggeriets Videnscenter and Enemærke & Petersen, each of which is helping companies digitize. The software director is pleased that the industry is embracing digitalization.
